Section 6: (1.4 miles) - THE BRIDGE IS DONE

Trail Section 6 begins on the river right side of Indian Creek where the remnants (abutments and piers) of the old railroad bridge remain. The piers are structurally sound and will be used for the re-building of the bridge.

Regarding the building of the bridge, steel beams have been donated! They are currently in Meadville, and we are working on the transportation of them. Neiderheiser Excavating have donated their cranes for placements of the beams once we have them in the area! The site was recently surveyed by an engineering company and plans are currently being drawn up.

UPDATE. Construction of the bridge has begun, as of 9/18/2014

From Grist Mill Lane to County Line Road the ICV Trail has been finished!! We refer to this area as the Donegal Extension.
